Community Outreach: Earthquake Safety for Schools

Educational program bringing earthquake safety awareness to schools in northern Thailand.

EARTH researchers and volunteers visit schools in earthquake-prone areas to teach students and teachers about earthquake safety.

Program Activities:

• Interactive presentations on earthquake science
• Duck, Cover, and Hold On demonstrations
• School evacuation drill planning
• Distribution of educational materials

This program has reached over 5,000 students in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son provinces.
