STIN Volunteer Model for Building Resilience, Earthquake Awareness, and Preparedness Among Youth in Thailand

This paper presents the STIN (Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing) Volunteer Model, a training-for-trainers program that equips nursing students to educate youth about earthquake preparedness. Using the PANJAPA framework focusing on Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice, the program covers CPR, first aid, patient transport, survival bag preparation, Incident Command System, and disaster planning. The model has been deployed in three regions: Phang Nga (south), Chiang Rai (north), and central Thailand.
