This paper summarizes findings from a New Zealand reconnaissance delegation to Bangkok following the 28 March 2025 Myanmar earthquake. The team assessed dynamic characteristics of soft soils, documented structural and non-structural damage in 10 buildings, and conducted functional recovery surveys. Site periods ranged from 4.5-7.6 seconds, with elevator damage being the most significant factor affecting building functionality.
